There were two Video Reviews during Matchday 14.
ATL vs PHI: Penalty kick
Outcome: After review, Atlanta #44 [Luis Abram] committed a punishable handball offense inside the penalty area.
The final decision was a penalty kick [to Philadelphia Union].

PRO’s opinion: As Abram (ATL) slid to block the shot from Mikael Uhre (PHI), he did so with both arms extended away from his body. The ball hit his right arm, which acted as a barrier and stopped the ball from going toward the goal. The referee was correct to award a penalty kick after video review and to issue a yellow card for the denial of a goal from a non-deliberate handball offense.
LA vs LAFC: No goal (offside)
Outcome: After review, LA Galaxy #11 [Gabriel Pec] was in an offside position when the ball was passed to him by LA #18 [Marco Reus]. LA Galaxy #11 then interfered with play when he touched the ball before he scored.
The final decision was offside and an indirect free kick [to Los Angeles FC].
Length of Review: 3:10
PRO’s opinion: At the moment the ball was played to Pec (LA), he was in an offside position. The referee was correct to disallow the goal for the offside offense after video review.
