2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final crew announced

PRO’s Baldomero Toledo will referee the 2016 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Final between FC Dallas and New England Revolution.

The center official will be assisted in Frisco, Texas, by Sean Hurd (AR1) and Adam Wienckowski (AR2), while Sorin Stoica will be on fourth official duties.

The reserve assistant referee is Kyle Atkins.

A vastly experienced referee, Toledo has officiated at the top level of North American soccer since his Major League Soccer debut in 2004, when he took charge of Kansas City Wizards versus Colorado Rapids.

He has since made more than 200 appearances with the whistle, including two MLS Cups (2008 and 2010) and, at the time of writing, has 13 MLS games under his belt in 2016.

Assistant referee Hurd is no stranger to the big stage having officiating at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, while fellow AR Wienckowski officiated the 2007 MLS Cup.
