The final decision was a penalty kick [to North Carolina Courage].

Length of Review: 2:05

PRO’s opinion: Farmer (CHI) kicked Parkinson (NC) from behind on her right foot without playing the ball. The referee was correct to award a penalty kick after video review.

POR vs WAS: Penalty kick

Outcome: After review, Portland #16 [Sam Hiatt] fouled Washington #27 [Sofia Cantore] inside the penalty area.

The final decision was a penalty kick [to Washington Spirit].

Length of Review: 1:52

PRO’s opinion: Hiatt (POR) made contact with Cantore’s knee (WAS), affecting her ability to maintain control of the ball and causing her to fall to the ground. The referee was correct to award a penalty kick after video review.

SEA vs SD: Red card (DOGSO)

Outcome: After review, San Diego #16 [Mimi Van Zanten] denied Seattle #5 [Maddie Dahlien] an obvious goal-scoring opportunity.

The final decision was a red card to San Diego #16 and a direct free kick [to Seattle Reign].

Length of Review: 2:59

PRO’s opinion: Van Zanten (SD) used her right foot to trip Dahlien (SEA) while she was in possession of the ball. This caused the attacker to lose her balance, fall to the ground, and denied an obvious goal-scoring opportunity. Although Kennedy Wesley (SD) was in close proximity, she was behind both the player and the ball at the time of Van Zanten’s challenge. The referee was correct to issue a red card after video review.
