The crew for the 2025 USL Jägermeister Cup Final on Saturday, October 4, has been announced. The showpiece game between Sacramento Republic and Hartford Athletic will kick off at 10PM ET at Heart Health Park.

Matthew Corrigan
This will be a first showpiece final for Corrigan, who has refereed 19 games across NWSL, USL Championship, MLS NEXT Pro, and USL Jägermeister Cup this season, with a further 11 games as fourth official in MLS. Was fourth official for last season’s USL Championship Western Conference Final.
Chris Schurfranz
Was the reserve assistant referee for the 2024 USL League One Final and has officiated 27 games across NWSL, USL Super League, USL Championship, USL League One, MLS NEXT Pro, and USL Jägermeister Cup this year.
Max Smith
Like Schurfranz, Smith is stepping up from being a reserve assistant referee at a showpiece final last season to take to the field this year, having been assigned to the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro Cup. Has worked three games fewer than his opposite AR across the same competitions this season.
Matt Thompson
The 2021 USL Referee of the Year is assigned to his second showpiece final, having been fourth official for the 2022 USL Championship Final. Has predominantly refereed in the USL Championship in 2025, with an additional 10 games as a fourth official during the MLS regular season.
Austin Holt
Another to have worked more than 20 games across NWSL, USL Super League, USL Championship, USL League One, MLS NEXT Pro, and USL Jägermeister Cup this year. Like Corrigan, this will be his first showpiece final – the pair worked the USL League One semifinal between Union Omaha and Greenville Triumph together last season.
