Four PRO officials selected for FIFA Club World Cup

FIFA have confirmed the match officials from each confederation that have been selected for the 2018 FIFA Club World Cup UAE in December and PRO are delighted to learn that four officials have been invited to take part.

Jair Marrufo, Frank Anderson, Corey Rockwell, and Mark Geiger will form part of a 24-man team for the tournament in Abu Dhabi between December 12 to 22.

The PRO quartet has more than 900 MLS games between them and officiated 28 games throughout the World Cup and Geiger, who will be utilized as a VAR in UAE, was the first VAR to work a FIFA Club World Cup Final last year.

PRO General Manager Howard Webb said: “Building on their excellent performances at the World Cup we are delighted to see Jair, Mark, Frank and Corey continue to receive recognition with their selection to another FIFA tournament.

“To have members of the PRO team selected to feature on the world stage demonstrates the esteem in which our officials are held and the progress we are making as an organization.”
