USL unveils 2017 home openers
The 2017 regular season will kickoff with a 13-game slate on the weekend of Saturday, March 25 and Sunday, March 26.
Reigning champions New York Red Bulls II start on the road, travelling to Pittsburgh Riverhounds on the opening Saturday of the campaign, while 2016 USL Western Conference champions Swope Park Rangers host OKC Energy to kick their season off.
Two of the USL’s newcomers begin on home turf, with Reno 1868 welcoming Orange County to Greater Nevada Field and the Tampa Bay Rowdies facing state rivals Orlando City B at Al Lang Stadium.
The other newcomer, Ottawa Fury, has to wait until the second weekend for its inaugural USL game, and they’ve been given a visit to Saint Louis.
