Referee Margaret Domka has been assigned to the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup which takes place in Canada across June and July.
The 35-year-old was chosen as a CONCACAF center official for the tournament, following successful campaigns at the FIFA Under-20 Women’s World Cups in 2012 and 2014.
Domka has significant experience at FIFA events, having first been involved on the international scene in 2007 as an AR, before becoming a FIFA referee in 2009.
PRO’s Women’s Referee Coach and Assignor Sandra Serafini told proreferees.com: “This is fantastic news for Margaret and we at PRO couldn’t be prouder.
“Her appointment to this year’s Women’s World Cup is a testament to many years of hard work and intense preparation by Margaret and the PRO staff.
“It’s an honor for PRO and US Soccer to be able to provide the support that drives Margaret and all of our officials to succeed at the top levels and continue to represent the high standards of officiating among our ranks.”
