There were two Video Reviews during Matchday 28.
CLT vs CHI: No goal (offside)
Outcome: After review, Charlotte #25 [Tyger Smalls] was in an offside position when the ball was played by Charlotte #28 [Djibril Diani]. The ball deflected off the post to Charlotte #25 who then gained an advantage when he touched the ball prior to scoring a goal.
The final decision was offside and an indirect free kick [to Chicago Fire].

PRO’s opinion: At the moment Diani (CLT) took the shot on goal, Smalls (CLT) was in an offside position. The referee was correct to disallow the goal for the offside offense after video review.
CLB vs MIA: Penalty kick
Outcome: After review, Miami #42 [Yannick Bright] fouled Columbus #77 [Josef Martínez] inside the penalty area.
The final decision was a penalty kick [to Columbus Crew].

PRO’s opinion: At the taking of a Columbus Crew corner, Bright (MIA) held Martínez (CLB) in a deliberate and sustained manner, impacting his ability to challenge for the ball. The referee was correct to award a penalty kick after video review.
