There were four Video Reviews during Matchday 27.
MTL vs CLB: No goal (offside)
Outcome: After review, Montréal #21 [Fabian Herbers] was in an offside position when the ball was passed to him by Montréal #22 [Victor Loturi]. Montréal #21 then interfered with play when he touched the ball prior to Montréal #9 [Prince Owusu] scoring a goal.
The final decision was offside and an indirect free kick [to Columbus Crew].

PRO’s opinion: At the moment the ball was played to Herbers (MTL) by Loturi (MTL), he was in an offside position. The referee was correct to disallow the goal for the offside offense after video review.
NE vs ORL: Penalty kick
Outcome: After review, New England #25 [Peyton Miller] committed a punishable handball offense inside the penalty area.
The final decision was a penalty kick [to Orlando City].

PRO’s opinion: As Joran Gerbet (ORL) prepared to shoot, the ball struck the outstretched right arm of Miller (NE), who was standing over the penalty area line and attempting to block the shot. The on-field decision of a direct free kick was clearly wrong and the referee was correct to award a penalty kick after video review.
Outcome: After review, Los Angeles #14 [Sergi Palencia] fouled San Jose #87 [Vítor Costa] in the buildup to Son Heung-Min (LAFC) scoring a goal.
The final decision was no goal, a direct free kick [to San Jose Earthquakes] and a yellow card to Los Angeles #14 for a reckless challenge.

PRO’s opinion: Palencia (LAFC) missed the ball and stepped high on the boot of Costa (SJ) using his studs, preventing Costa from being able to defend. The referee was correct to disallow the goal for a foul in the attacking possession phase after video review.
Outcome: After review, St Louis #19 [Carlo Holse] was in an offside position when the ball was passed to him by St Louis #21 [Dante Polvara]. St Louis #19 then interfered with play when he touched the ball prior to St Louis #42 [Damion Downs] scoring a goal.
The final decision was offside and an indirect free kick [to Toronto FC].
