Outcome: After review, Denver #26 [Natasha Flint] fouled Houston #24 [Danielle Colaprico] inside the penalty area.
The final decision was penalty kick [to Houston Dash].

PRO’s opinion: Flint (DEN) challenged Colaprico (HOU), and the attacker went down. The referee believed that the defender had played the ball before any contact with the attacker and allowed play to continue. The VAR identified that Flint had not made contact with the ball but instead tripped her opponent. The referee correctly awarded a penalty after video review.
