There were two Video Reviews during Matchday 22.
NSH vs PHI: Penalty kick
Outcome: After review, Philadelphia #29 [Olwethu Makhanya] fouled Nashville #10 [Hany Mukhtar] inside the penalty area.
The final decision was a penalty [to Nashville].
Length of Review: 1:36
PRO’s opinion: Makhanya (PHI) was unsuccessful in playing the ball when he challenged Mukhtar (NSH) and instead tripped the attacker, which forced him to ground. The referee correctly awarded a penalty kick after the video review.
SD vs HOU: No goal (offside)
Outcome: After review, Houston #14 [Duane Holmes] was in an offside position when the ball was passed to him by Houston #4 [Ethan Bartlow]. Houston #14 then interfered with play when he touched the ball prior to Houston #10 [Ezequiel Ponce] scoring a goal.
The final decision was offside and an indirect free kick [to San Diego].

PRO’s opinion: At the moment the ball was played to Holmes (HOU), he was in an offside position. The referee was correct to disallow the goal for the offside offense after video review.
