PRO’s Mark Geiger named CONCACAF Referee of the Year
PRO’s Mark Geiger has been named the CONCACAF Referee of the Year.
The FIFA official topped the voting ahead of Mexico’s Marco Antonio Rodriguez and Walter Quesada of Costa Rica.
Geiger refereed three matches at the 2014 World Cup, including the Round of 16 encounter between France and Nigeria.
The New Jersey-native, who was also named MLS Referee of the Year, capped off 2014 by being the man in the middle at the MLS Cup between LA Galaxy and New England Revolution at StubHub Center.
