2024 USL Championship Final crew confirmed

The crew for the 2024 USL Championship Final on Saturday, November 23, has been announced. The showpiece game between Colorado Springs Switchbacks and Rhode Island will kick off at 12PM ET at Weidner Field.

Meet the crew:

Ricardo Fierro
A first showpiece final caps off a season that saw him referee 15 games in USL Championship and five in MLS, as well as officiate in NWSL and MLS NEXT Pro, plus an additional 10 games as a fourth official in MLS. Refereed the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup semifinal between Seattle Sounders and Los Angeles FC in August.

Stephen McGonagle
Was the reserve assistant referee for the 2022 NWSL Championship and will officiate his first showpiece final on the field. Has been busy in USL Championship and NWSL this season, and made his MLS debut as an assistant referee in Matchday 18.

Rhett Hammil
Has officiated 20 games in USL Championship this year while also working on the field in MLS NEXT Pro and NWSL. In addition, he has been an AVAR in NWSL and MLS. Was AVAR for Washington Spirit’s win over NJ/NY Gotham FC in the NWSL Playoff Semifinal and now takes to the field for his second showpiece final, having been AR2 for the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Cup.

Abdou Ndiaye
Has spent the majority of his season on the field in USL Championship, alongside games in NWSL and MLS NEXT Pro. Made his MLS debut as a referee in Matchday 16 and also worked five games during the regular season as a fourth official in MLS.

Darren Bandy
Worked the NWSL Playoff Semifinal between Orlando Pride and Kansas City Current along with Ndiaye (who was the fourth official) earlier this month and been assistant referee in more than 20 games across USL Championship and NWSL this year.
