2024 MLS All-Star crew confirmed
The crew for the 2024 MLS All-Star Game on Wednesday, July 24, has been announced. The showpiece game between MLS All-Stars and LIGA MX All-Stars will kick off at 8PM ET at Lower.com Field.

Meet the crew:
Guido Gonzales Jr
Takes charge of a second major showpiece game, having refereed the 2018 NWSL Championship final. The inaugural USL Referee of the Year in 2019 made his MLS debut a month after that final and is now approaching 100 MLS regular-season games. Was fourth official for the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final.
Andrew Bigelow
Was assistant referee for the 2017 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final and returns for his second MLS All-Star game and first on the field, having been the reserve assistant referee in 2019. Has worked 17 games as assistant referee this season and achieved the milestone of 200 MLS regular-season games during Matchday 22 this year.
Kali Smith
Adds MLS All-Star to a blossoming resume that includes two NWSL Championship finals (2021 and 2022) and reserve assistant referee roles at NWSL Challenge Cup and USL Championship final – both in 2022, a year when she was also named as the USL Assistant Referee of the Year. A FIFA official since 2023, Smith heads to Colombia in September to officiate at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.
Lukasz Szpala
Joined the FIFA international panel this year and has refereed 13 MLS games in 2024 and 69 in total since his debut in 2021. Refereed the 2022 USL Championship final.
Younes Marrakchi
One of three officiating in Columbus who was on the crew for the 2023 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final, where he worked as VAR. Made his MLS debut in 2012 as a fourth official and has worked more than 150 games as a VAR since 2018.
Joshua Patlak
A former FIFA official between 1994 and 1998, Patlak has officiated 26 MLS regular-season games as AVAR this year and more than 175 in total.
Ryan Graves
Promoted to PRO’s senior match official group in 2021 and another to earn their FIFA badge this year. Has worked 15 MLS regular-season games so far in 2024 and was reserve assistant referee for last year’s Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final.
