There were two Video Reviews during Week 25.

CHI vs RGN: Review for goal (offside) – not given

What happened: A goal was scored by Jess Fishlock (RGN) but disallowed by the on-field officials for offside after a delayed flag and whistle.

The VAR determined that Fishlock was in an onside position when Alana Cook (RGN) played the ball to her. An on-field review was recommended, and after Video Review, a goal was awarded to OL Reign.

WAS vs NC: Review for red card (serious foul play) – not given

What happened: Trinity Rodman (WAS) challenged Denise O’Sullivan (NC) for the ball, and O’Sullivan went to ground. The referee issued a yellow card to Rodman for a reckless challenge.

The VAR determined that Rodman endangered the safety of her opponent, by making high contact with her studs on the back of the leg and the Achilles of O’Sullivan. An on-field review was recommended, and after Video Review, the referee issued a red card for serious foul play.
