PRO’s points of focus for the 2017 season
The 2017 Major League Soccer season begins on March 4, and the Professional Referees Organization are turning their attentions to the following offences for the new campaign:
– Holding and pushing in the penalty area
– Acts of visual dissent
– Delayed restarts
– Persistent infringement

In a recent conference call, Walton also outlined the changes to the Laws of the Game introduced by the International Football Association Board (IFAB) which come into effect for the new campaign.
