NWSL announces 2017 home openers
The National Women’s Soccer League has announced the 2017 regular season home openers, with the campaign set to kickoff over the weekend of April 15 and 16.
Teams will play 24 matches, 12 home and 12 away, competing in a single table.
The first four games of the season will take place on Saturday, April 15, with North Carolina Courage versus Washington Spirit the stand-out match.
Portland Thorns start at home, welcoming the visit of Orlando Pride to Providence Park, while Seattle Reign and Houston Dash also kickoff in familiar surroundings, hosting Sky Blue FC and Chicago Red Stars respectively.
The opening weekend comes to a close on Sunday, April 16, when two-time NWSL champions FC Kansas City take on Boston Breakers.
