This week’s Play of the week with Training & Development Manager Paul Rejer comes from the Real Salt Lake vs. Columbus Crew match.

During the match, Crew’s Frederico Higuain received a second yellow card from referee Silviu Petrescu for an off the ball incident following information received by AR Kevin Duliba.​

Paul explained: “In the clip, play is in the opposite half to where Kevin is operating. However, he does what all the best ARs are trained to do, which is to cover the referee’s back and to scan other areas on the field where potential misconduct may occur, out of the referee’s sight.
